For the past thirteen years Swing Fore the Cure has been defined by its fabulous annual Golf Tournament in early October. This cornerstone event is at the heart of the organization's history, dreamed up by a few men on the golf course who wanted to help the women in their lives. The golf tournament, along with the "Shuck and Putt" auction the evening preceeding the tournament have been the primary and incredibly successful fundraising events for the organization.

In 2009, with the foundation laid by the first twelve successful years of fundraising, Swing Fore the Cure added two additional fundraising events - Guest Bartender Night ("Pour Fore the Cure") and the Cornhole Tournament ("Toss for the Cure") - all benefiting breast cancer research and the cure that we all hope to see in our lifetime.

Listed to the right are the fundraising events scheduled for 2010 including of course the annual golf tournament that will continue to be the focal event of the organization. Swing Fore the Cure hopes to grow the two new events added in 2009 and establish them as annual events for the organization as well. If you can aim and toss a corn bag 30 feet, you can master the game of Cornhole. This casual BBQ will have something fun for all ages!! This new event is part of our effort to add a family-friendly event that allows even the littlest ones to support the fight against breast cancer.
